Deionized Water

ChemCentral deionized water is water as you know it but with the ions removed. Traditional tap or bottled water often contains ions collected from the environment (e.g. pipes) it passes. These ions are typically (but not exclusively) Calcium, Sodium, Copper and Iron and the deionization process removes the majority of these.

Deionized water is used in a wide range of applications across the manufacturing sector and is typically used where high levels of water purity are required. This can range from chemical and laboratory applications right through to blending or cleaning.
